Support for the underprivileged
We focus on practical services that would be sincerely helpful for the underprivileged, especially low-income families, the disabled, the elderly, children and social welfare facilities, who need attention from neighbors through not only material support but also volunteer work.
We have been covering low-income families’ health insurance premiums since 2007. This project allows low-income classes and the elderly who would otherwise have no way to pay the premiums to have access to healthcare services. In addition, we contribute to the maintenance of national health and the promotion of social welfare through various welfare projects.
We are offering dreams and encouragement to college students and those who have contributed to society through scholarship and reward projects.
Scholarship
Since 2006, we have been selecting college students with excellent performances despite financial difficulties and providing scholarships. Seobong Scholarship is helping first and second graders to continue their studies and focus on self-development for two years. It is also empowering future leaders who do their best even in difficult environments.
We are planning to increase the scholarship support to those living in harsh environments including child breadwinners, single-parent children, and middle and high school students from grandparent’s families. In addition to economic support, we would like to help teenagers grow in a healthy environment by holding activities such as outdoor activities and linking SL group executives as one-to-one mentors.
Local merit award project
We would like to implement a reward project to encourage excellent people who have contributed to social and cultural development and regional development to become an example to the society. We plan to establish an award that is authoritative in the region by presenting awards in consideration of academic, art, social development, and human welfare promotion.
We are creating a bright future together through cultural support and academic research support projects.
Regional culture project
We are supporting various cultural and artistic projects such as local cultural and artistic festivals, theater and dance performances, exhibitions, and cultural and artistic presentations as well as cultural performances for local citizens who are isolated from cultural privileges. We will keep providing cultural support.
Academic and researchactivities support
We believe that the basic purpose of exploring truths and learning is to create a society where we share happiness together.
We have been supporting professors and researchers majoring in engineering with research funds since 2006 in order to help the researchers who are striving to make a better future. Every year, we select and support excellent universities and research institutes across the country especially for those related to automotive engineering.
