Target management system to reduce greenhouse gas emissions
SL developed a greenhouse gas emission management system in 2020 and is managing a greenhouse gas emission once a year through regular emission measurement and updates in entire business units. In addition, the third verification of greenhouse gas emissions is carried out in accordance with the verification procedure of ISO 14064-3 to secure the reliability of GHG emissions, and it is continuously managed for use in government agencies or internal reports.
Activities to reduce CO2 emission throughout all value chains
SL manages energy efficiency to reduce CO2 emissions. We are monitoring hours of energy use and energy efficiency in all facilities by operating a Factory Energy Managing System, and using this data to find optimal operation methods to avoid wasting energy.
