Conflict minerals management

Conflict minerals refer to 3TG minerals (tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold) produced in nine countries adjacent to the Democratic Republic of the Congo (South Sudan, Burundi, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, Angola, Zambia, the Central African Republic, and the Republic of the Congo). The use of conflict minerals produced in these conflict zones could lead to the flow of funds to rebel activities and cause serious human rights violations such as civilian and child forced labor in the process of collecting minerals.

SL is currently taking care of these conflict minerals that are being extensively regulated and controlled worldwide.
We keep monitoring the use of conflict minerals by regularly utilizing CMRT (Conflict Minerals Reporting Template) for suppliers, and formulated and uses internal guidelines to systematically control conflict minerals through the ongoing process.
